Our story

After many years of talking, researching, dreaming about it and working toward it, our family decided to move to Alaska. In 2019, we made several 3,700 mile trips up the Al-Can from Wisconsin to Alaska with trucks and trailers hauling personal property and heavy equipment. We settled near Anchor Point on the Kenai Peninsula and started building and clearing land. 

We’ve now completed one off-grid cabin, are renovating another, have several acres of land cleared for hay. We raise chickens, goats, rabbits and beef and grow produce in our greenhouse. Our diverse family includes a contractor, heavy equipment mechanic, veterinarian, attorney, licensed family nurse practitioner and farmers. Between us we can handle just about every task.
